With a population of 742.65 million (2018), and per capita of 43,663.60 USD (2018), Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Asia to the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. With 47 countries and assorted dependencies, islands and territories, Europe is the planet’s 6th largest continent. Sans recent Brexit, Europe is under the European Union.
By way of history, Europeans are “immigrants in chief”, imposed through European colonization of the Americas, dated back in the 16th century. In testimony thereof, vestiges of european colonization remains in the Americas: 1) France — culture and language in Haiti, Quebec, Canada, and New Orleans, Louisiana, and Lady liberty standing tall in the shores of New york — in North America; 2) Spain — culture and language in Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Venezuela– in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC); 3) France’s territories — Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Martin, French Guiana — in LAC ; 4) United Kingdom’s territories — Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) and Cayman Islands — in LAC; and 5) The Netherlands’ territories — Aruba, curacao, and sint Marteen — in LAC.
Noteworthy is european countries understand and apply the virtue of sharing — France and the Kingdom of Netherland share the Island of St martin; France and Spain formerly shared the Island of hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic) and France and the United Kingdom formerly shared Guiana; The European Union is Europe economic engine; and NATO is europe mighty military power.
To conclude, this interrelation plays a crucial role in the united Europe’s influence in the world. As such the territories’ sub-federations shall remain annexed to their indexed European countries. In the same vein, the same shall be for the sub-federations in surrounding Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and Spain (1,000).
